Snickers Stuffed Dates

These guilt-free Snickers Stuffed Dates are a healthier twist on a classic treat, combining sweet Medjool dates, creamy peanut butter, and a crunchy peanut center, all dipped in smooth chocolate. Perfectly indulgent yet wholesome, they’re quick to make and naturally sweetened. 


This is Day 4 of the 30 Healthy-ish Desserts series —a perfect midnight snack without the guilt!

Snickers Stuffed Dates

Yield: 6 stuffed dates
Prep Time: 10 minutes
Cook Time: 0 minutes
Total Time: 10 minutes

Ingredients & Utensils

Microwave-safe bowl for melting milk chocolate 

1 fork 

tupperware or freezer-friendly plate lined with parchment paper 

1 teaspoon 


12 Medjooled Dates 

1/4 cup (85g) Peanut Butter 

1/4 cup (85g) Raw Unsalted Peanutes

1 cup (250g) Milk Chocolate 

1 teaspoon (5.6g) Extra Virgin Olive Oil or Coconut Oil 

Lets Get Cooking

1. Remove the pits from the Medjooled Dates. Ignore this step if you have depitted dates. 


2. slice with a knife and without cutting the date into two pieces creating a little pocket. 


3. Fill each with one teaspoon of peanut butter and 3-4 whole peanuts. Place on a freezer-friendly plate or tupperware lined with parchment paper. Place in the freezer until the peanut butter hardens. 


4. Melt milk chocolate with Extra Virgin Olive Oil or Coconut Oil for 45 seconds in the microwave. Stirring at increments of 15 seconds to prevent burning. Or, you can use the double boiler method. 


5. Take the stuffed dates out of the freezer. Use a fork, dip each in the melted chocolate and place back on the freezer-friendly plate, or tupperware lined with parchment paper. 


6. Place in freezer for the chocolate to harden. 


Now you can enjoy your guilt-free Snickers Stuffed Dates as a midnight treat!

Notes

1. Storage: Store in a glass container/tupperware and allow the wedges to cool completely before storing it in the fridge. This can be stored in the fridge for up to 1 week or batch meal-prepped and stored in the freezer for 2 weeks.
